Anna's Biography
Anna K. Brown grew up in Austin and Kingsville, Texas. She graduated from H.M. King High School and followed with a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University-Kingsville). Anna continued her studies, branching out into Special Education and furthering her Organ Perfomance studies. She earned her Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2001.
During the summer of 1997, Anna traveled with organ students from UTSA to Prague in the Czech Republic to study Baroque organs. The trip included several opportunities to perform in the world's most revered organ venues. The group traveled to Southern France for a similar experience in July, 1999.
Anna has served numerous churches throughout her performing life and is presently the organist at House of Prayer Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas.

Anna K. Brown offers piano, organ, and voice lessons to individuals and paired students, either on-site (at your home) or at a private studio. Lessons are tailored to the experiences, abilities, and educational goals of each student, and Anna's students have demonstrated their achievement through public performances, competitions, and exhibitions throughout the central and south Texas regions.
